Before Sunset
“Before sunrise” is a romantic drama movie released in 1995
starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Deply. It depicts the story of two young people
Jesse an American and Celine a young French woman, who meets on a train journey
in Vienna and spend a night together through city knowing each other. “Before Sunset” came as a sequel to “Before
Sunrise” It starts nine years after the events of the first film. Jesse, now a
published author is on book tour visiting countries promoting his novel. As
part of this he visits Paris and attends a book reading event in a book store
where he meets Celine now an independent woman. The story then moves on to
their conversation about their present lives and the experience they had in Vienna.
Ethan and
Julie will not let you move your eyes away from the screen with their
expressive talk roaming through exquisite alleys of Paris.Director Richard
Linklater who had directed the previous film too, had managed to carry the same
romantic feeling throughout the movie. The screenplay of the movie was way past
the conventional ones. The simple idea of having a conversation while walking
through the streets of Paris along the coffee houses and boat rides is positively
eccentric. The cinematographer had made a quiet compelling work in capturing
the natural feel of the locations although few .
The screen
writers had shown a great interest in expressing the relationship issues of
married and unmarried ones through a romantic talk.Although film don’t give a
concrete answer to those issues it will give you a feeling that we detach from
our true desires and live a false life, passing days hoping for something else
than what we have.
Nothing
concrete “Before Sunset” takes you through a roller-coaster ride of human
emotions and feelings which hide behind tight lips, dry eyes and a smiling face.
Like a well served coffee this movie
gives you the taste of sour and sweet lives of commonly uncommon people around
us.http://mourparadise.blogspot.in/2015/11/before-sunset-movie-review.html
